Alligator Mayco Jungle Gem

Cone 06: Alligator is an opaque, matte green base glaze with glossy green and yellow crystals.
Cone 6: Base glaze loses opacity and changes to blue/green with a gloss finish - crystals fade and melt. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.

Mayco's Jungle Gems are gloss glaze bases with pieces of glass frit that melts during the firing process. As the crystals bloom, they produce dramatic, colourful effects.

CG-973 is considered health caution due to barium in the formulation.  CL products are for use by artists ages 12 and older.

* Combine Jungle Gems with other Mayco Glazes for dramatic effect

* Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface characteristics

* Fires to cone 06 - 04 (999 - 1060C)

* If fired higher, the glazes retain their base colour but with increased crystal movement

Use a soft fan brush to apply the first two or three coats and to apply the final coat which should include crystals
