Description
Small: 100mmL X 90mmH X 60mmW
Medium: 100mmL X 100mmH X 80mmW
Large: 160mmL X 110mmH X 60mmW
Extra Large: 160mmL X 135mmH X 80mmW
They can be fired up to 1250°C but the bars weaken the higher you fire them so be careful not to overload them. Spread beads evenly along the bar especially the thinner 2mm ones.
The rack will produce black residue upon the first firing, however this is just oxidation and will not effect the bead racks usability.
Includes x4 2mm & x1 3mm Rod
(If ordering spare firing rods please select 200mm as the 100mm rods are too short for the bead racks.)
Working Notes
Note: The stress on the firing aids depends heavily on the weight of the ceramic being fired, as well as the heating rate and final firing temperature. The stainless steel firing aids exhibit very high scale resistance up to 1250°C. Flat ceramics such as tiles or plates may warp if fired at the limit of the clay's maximum temperature. We recommend testing beforehand.
