Pink Pixie Mayco Jungle Gem

Cone 06 oxidation (large photo): Pixie Pink is an opaque, light pink base glaze with blue, purple, and white crystals and small blue specks.

Cone 6 oxidation (small photo): Base glaze fades – crystals fade and melt. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.

Mayco's Jungle Gems are gloss glaze bases with pieces of glass frit that melts during the firing process. As the crystals bloom, they produce dramatic, colourful effects.

* Combine Jungle Gems with other Mayco Glazes for dramatic effect

* Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface characteristics

* Fires to cone 06 - 04 (999 - 1060C)

* If fired higher, the glazes retain their base colour but with increased crystal movement

Use a soft fan brush to apply the first two or three coats and to apply the final coat which should include crystals
