Description

Pottery Plaster is a good general purpose plaster for pottery moulds. Primarily used to produce working moulds for the slip casting of sanitaryware, tableware or refractory castings. It can also be used for the production of working moulds for jiggering in Tableware.

Pottery has good absorption capability, taking the moisture from the clay slip effectively.

"Lovely plaster to work with. I used this for my first time ever making plaster molds and it made it the easiest step with how easy to mix is it. I mixed by eye but I hear it’s 2 parts water and 3 parts plaster. Dries quickly, is easy to clean up and leaves you with a lovely mold. Highly recommend. "

"Excellent plaster for making pottery moulds. Easy to use: mix 3 parts plaster to 2 parts water, then within about 5 minutes pour into the former for your mould. The plaster does not stick to wet or leather hard clay, and you can paint "water soluble wax" on other surfaces as a mould release. It is easy to trim the dried plaster with a file or knife. The resulting plaster mould should last for many pottery casings."
