Red Earthenware Powdered Clay
Dried and pulverised Etruria Marl that casts well due to medium sized grog added and is suitable for large items like garden pots. A beautiful rich terracotta coloured clay, when fired to 1080°C. Firing range 1080°C - 1180°C.
This powdered clay can be used when making seed bombs.

Medium, white raku boy with over 55% molochite. Low shrinkage, highly resistant to warping and cracking. Firing 900c – 1290c.

Casting slips will thicken on standing/in storage but thin again when brought to ambient temperature and mixed thoroughly (thixotropy). However, bear in mind that deflocculant will gradually lose its electrical charge over a period of time resulting in loss of efficacy....
