White Special Stoneware Clay 1142
Description
Firing Range: 1200°C-1300°C
A new white-burning, refractory, smooth-textured body which throws and handles well. A very good domestic ware body of excellent colour and perfomance and almost a smooth, sliphoused version of 157-1145. A sanded version, 1142-30 is also available which is a particularly good throwing body.

"This clay is good for throwing and a good price. At high fire it's more of a creamy white. Sometimes the clay arrives too wet though. This is more a problem caused by the manufacturer. Annoying none the less if running classes. "
